Ubuntu Hoary Packages

You can find below some packages I built from several debian repositories for Ubuntu Hoary - these versions were more recent that those available in Hoary and also in the backports at the time I built them.

Previously, I had an old backports libgcc1, which create conflicts with fresh ubuntu installs. I have removed the old packages, all packages listed on this page are now built on a fresh Hoary + updates.

These packages were built on an upgraded Ubuntu Hoary. To ensure your system is up to date, use this sources.list file and save it as /etc/apt/sources.list - then run sudo apt-get update ; sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Download each file and install with sudo dpkg -i [filename].deb

I can give no warranty and can just wish you good luck with these packages. They work for me!

New versions of existing packages

inkscape_0.42.2-1_i386.deb the latest 0.42.2, which requires the libgc library below
libgc1c2_6.5-1_i386.deb Libgc is a library needed by Inkscape. Remove existing ubuntu package before with sudo apt-get remove libgc1. Please be aware that you'll need to remove also the metapackage ubuntu-base and that it may be a problem for instance when you will update to breezy!
libgc-dev_6.5-1_i386.deb Devel package for libgc. Remove existing ubuntu package before with sudo apt-get remove libgc-dev
f-spot_0.1.1-2_i386.deb Latest version of f-spot, requires new libexif below
libexif12_0.6.12-2_i386.deb

New packages

mixxx_1.4.2-1_i386.deb mixxx is DJ audio mixer/player, requires also the libportaudio library below
